About
Welcome to my personal website! I'm Ryan Slater, a current Mechanical Engineering graduate student at the University of Utah. I hold an undergraduate degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California and have work experience at Texas Instruments. I love engineering and continuously strive to expand my technical knowledge base through higher education, workforce participation, and extracurricular activities. I'm extremely proud of my recent work in the semiconductor field, as well as my previous experience in food manufacturing. The projects completed and connections made at these stops have undoubtedly spurred my growth as a professional.
In addition to serving as a professional profile, I use this site to document my design projects, favorite reading material, and make notes on anything I find interesting in the world. Much of the aforementioned content reflects my passions for semiconductor manufacturing, industrial automation, algorithmic decision-making tools, and general applications of statistics (plus a little bit of baseball). As a final icebreaker, I'll leave you with a (non-exhaustive) list of interests I pursue in my free time.
